Organisation
Our organisation's Capability is the foundation for how we structure, secure, and scale your business on our platform. By organising every record, whether it’s a consumer, booking, or user, within a clear hierarchy, we ensure that your data, users, and brands are always properly managed and access-controlled. This structure empowers you to operate multiple brands and sales agencies with confidence, knowing that each user only sees and manages what they’re permitted to. As your business grows, our Organisations Capability allows you to scale securely and efficiently across all your brands and channels.
Organisational Hierarchy
Our platform uses a three-tier hierarchy to manage data ownership, user access, and brand identity. Each user is assigned to a specific level, which determines what data they can view or edit. With descendant access enabled, users can also access data in organisations below their own, supporting flexible yet secure operations.
| Level
|
Description
| | --- | --- | |
Partner
|
The top-level business entity in your relationship with us.
| |
Channel
|
Represents a single brand within a partner, where most operational data is managed.
| |
Sales Agency
|
Represents an agency that sells on behalf of a channel, with access scoped to their agency.
|
Descendant Access:
When enabled, this allows users to access data not only in their own organisation but also in any organisations below them in the hierarchy. For example, a Channel admin can view and manage data for all Sales Agencies under their Channel.
How Features and Interfaces Power the Organisation's Capability
Our platform’s features and interfaces are designed to work seamlessly with our hierarchy of organisations. Every piece of data, whether it’s a consumer, booking, or user, is assigned to a specific level in this hierarchy. This ensures that access is always appropriate, secure, and aligned with your business structure.
Below, we explain how each feature or interface helps you manage data and users within this hierarchy:
Partner
-
Role in Hierarchy:
The Partner is the top-level business entity. Administrators at this level have access to all data assigned to the Partner, and when permissions allow, can also access data in all Channels and Sales Agencies beneath them. -
How it Supports Organisation Capability:
By assigning users and data at the Partner level, you ensure that only those with the highest level of responsibility can oversee and manage all brands and agencies. This centralises control and supports strategic oversight. -
Access Control:
Partner admins can be configured with descendant access, allowing them to view and manage data across all subordinate Channels and Sales Agencies. -
Value:
The Partner level gives you a single point of oversight for your entire organisation.
Channel
-
Role in Hierarchy:
A Channel represents a single brand within a Partner. Most operational data, such as consumers, trips, and bookings, is assigned at this level. -
How it Supports Organisation Capability:
Users assigned to a Channel only have access to that Channel’s data, ensuring brand autonomy and data privacy. This keeps each brand’s activities distinct and secure. -
Access Control:
Channel users cannot see or edit data from other Channels or the Partner level, unless granted descendant access to Sales Agencies beneath their Channel. -
Value:
Channels make it easy to manage multiple brands without overlap or confusion.
Brand
-
Role in Hierarchy:
Brands are the public-facing identity of each Channel. -
How it Supports Organisation Capability:
Each Channel is associated with a unique Brand, ensuring that all customer-facing experiences are consistent and on-brand. -
Access Control:
Brand settings are managed at the Channel level, so only authorised Channel users can update branding and customer experience settings. -
Value:
Brands help you deliver a consistent, recognisable experience to your customers.
Agent Portal
-
Role in Hierarchy:
The Agent Portal is the interface for agents working within Sales Agencies. -
How it Supports Organisation Capability:
Agents are assigned at the Sales Agency level and use the Agent Portal to manage bookings and customers. Their access is strictly limited to their assigned agency, maintaining clear organisational boundaries. -
Access Control:
Agents can only view and act on data relevant to their Sales Agency. This ensures data security and operational integrity at the most granular level. -
Value:
The Agent Portal empowers your sales teams to operate efficiently while maintaining strict data security and organisational integrity.
Summary
Our organisation's Capability is the structural backbone of our platform. It enables you to manage even the most complex organisational setups with ease, security, and efficiency. By providing clear boundaries, robust access controls, and support for multiple brands and agencies, we help you scale your business while protecting your data and reinforcing your brand identity. This structure ensures that your operations remain secure, scalable, and consistent—no matter how your business grows.
