Bookings

Our Bookings feature manages the transition from selection to confirmation. It handles the creation, modification, and tracking of reservations, ensuring that all details are accurately captured and communicated. For agents, it supports book-on-behalf-of workflows, while for consumers, it provides clear visibility into their upcoming experiences.

How It Works

  1. Availability Search
    Customers can search for available products, dates, and times in real time, ensuring they only see what’s bookable.

  2. Booking Creation & Guest Questions
    When a customer selects an experience, the system collects all required guest details and any custom questions (like dietary needs or pickup location). These questions can be tailored to each product or partner.

  3. Booking Commit & Payment
    Once details are confirmed, the booking is finalized and payment is processed. The system checks that all information is still valid before committing, so customers never book something that’s no longer available.

  4. Automated Communications
    After booking, customers and suppliers receive confirmation emails, tickets, and reminders. These can be branded and sent in multiple languages, ensuring a professional and localized experience.

  5. Vouchers & QR Codes
    Customers receive digital vouchers and QR codes for entry. These can be scanned on arrival to validate and “consume” the booking, supporting both group and individual check-ins.

  6. Amendments & Cancellations
    Bookings can be amended or cancelled according to clear policies. The system automatically checks if a booking is eligible for changes or refunds, and processes them accordingly.

  7. Finance & Reporting
    Every transaction is logged, making it easy to reconcile payments, track commissions, and generate reports 6.

  8. Error Handling
    The system automatically retries failed actions, notifies support if needed, and keeps all parties informed—so issues are resolved quickly and bookings stay on track.

  9. Integration Options
    Partners can use Holibob’s embeddable booking widgets for a quick setup or connect directly via API for a fully customized experience.
